A school magazine
A school magazine is a journal published
annually from a school. It is mainly an affair of the students published with
the help of their teachers.
The headmaster is the chairman of the magazine committee and chief patron. For the publication of the magazine, at first, a committee is formed. It is formed in a general meeting of the teachers and the students of the school. There are three teachers and six students on the committee. The headmaster selects two teachers as the advisor and the proof-reader. Six students are elected from the students. They act as editor, asst. editor, business editor and the asst. proof-reader. The magazine fund is made up of the student magazine fees and help from different business organizations. The editor invites articles from the students and the teachers. Best articles are generally selected for publication. The important articles are essays, short stories, poems, jokes etc. It enables the students to write something and helps them to flourish their creativity. So it is a part and parcel of school life.
