Traffic jam refers to a congestion of vehicles. Traffic jam is a regular affair in the cities and towns. It is a problem of our daily life.
There are many reasons for traffic jam. Over population and narrowness of the roads cause traffic jam. The drivers do not obey the traffic rules. Their overtaking tendency also causes traffic jam. Illegal parking of vehicles is also responsible for traffic jam. Unlicensed vehicles also worsen the situation. Some corrupted traffic officers sometimes aggravate the situation allowing unlawful running of some vehicles. These corrupted officers do not impose traffic laws strictly. The number of traffic police is insufficient traffic jam kill our valuable time. It causes a great suffering to the people. This problem can be solved by adopting some effective measures. Proper and effective implementation of traffic rules can go a long way to solve the problem. At the same time the roads also have to be widen.
