A Day Laborer A daylaborerr is a poor fellow. His life is simple and full of hard work. He works all day long to support himself and his family. He does whatever work he gets. So he has no choice. Every morning he comes out of his house with a spade and basket. Sometimes he works in the field, in construction projects, dig soil, breaks bricks, etc. At the end of his work, he gets his payment and becomes very happy. He tries to save something from this. But when he gets no work, his is at stake. So the life of a day laborer is not an unmixed happiness. As he is an unskilled labourer his wage is very low, and he lives below the poverty line.

A Street Hawker A street hawker is a common sight in the streets of big cities and towns. A hawker sells his goods with interesting cries in order to draw the attention of his customers. He knows the art of convincing. Women and children are usually attracted by his calls. He generally offers toys, fruits, biscuits, vegetable, ice-cream, cakes, laces, cloths, utensils etc. On the contrary, there is another kind of hawkers who buy newspapers, blank pots, old books, worn out clothes from the houses. However, children are fond of a hawker but men do not like him. By carrying the goods for sale in his hands or over his shoulders, he moves from door to door. Sometimes he goes from one street to another with his moving shop and he often causes problem on the foot-path. A street hawker’s income is not sufficient, so he has to maintain his family through hardship.

A Street Beggar A street beggar is the poorest fellow on earth. With a bowl in hand or bag hanging from his shoulder, he begs from person to person. He tries to rouse our pity by describing loudly his tale of sorrows and the great virtue of giving alms. Some people being compassionate (kind) give him a coin but people generally feel distribute at his loud pitiful cries. But he complains against none. Some beggars stand or sit on the footpath and beg by singing or uttering a few words. In the urban areas the street beggar has no permanent house of his own. He lives in the veranda of some public building or in the market-place. But in the rural areas he possesses small dilapidated hut. He is the humblest person in society. How to see HSC result? The results of this year's  Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)  and its equivalent examinations will be published on July 17. The copy of the results will be handed over to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina around 10:00am on that day, Prothom Alo reports quoting an official of the education ministry. Later in the day, the results will be announced officially at a press briefing. The HSC exams and its equivalent examinations began across the country on April 1. A total of 13, 51,505 examinees -- 6, 64,496 are male and 6, 87,009 female students -- from 9,081 educational institutions appeared in the examinations under 10 education boards across the country.
